Master sommelier

      Sommeliers have an unusual job that deals with selecting wine daily. Master sommeliers work with restaurant business's to find the perfect wine to complement each meal. They chose a wine that goes well with the meal (and there taste buds) while also keeping the customers budget in mind. Also, they make sure that the wine is stored properly and in the right conditions. Sommeliers also host wine-tasting events to find out what kinds of wine certain people like. These masters also attend other wine-tasting events to find the new and best tasting wines out there.
     The salary of these workers depends on how big and expensive the restaurant they work at is. Annually master sommeliers make $150,000 annually.

Maxillofacial Surgeon

     Maxillofacial surgeons are dental specialist that treat defects and conditions of the mouth, jaws, teeth, face, and neck. These surgeons usually treat people who were in accidents, victims who have fallen, and people have tumors of the mouth.
     To become a maxillofacial surgeon you need to get a graduate degree for dentistry in college and attened, at a minium, a four year hospital

Golf-ball Divers

Did you ever wonder what happens to golf balls when you accidentally hit them in the water? A golf-ball diver jumps into the water and gets the golf balls out. Most golf-ball divers do not work many days a week. Usually they go in once or twice a week to get the balls out and then they leave. Some golf-ball divers work at more than one golfing course.
Golf-ball divers get paid $50,000-$100,00 annually. If you like to swim and make money than this is a good job for you!

      An archivist is someone who organizes important or historical documents, creating electronic copies, authenticating documents, providing references, and writing new records.
     Most archivists are employed by colleges, museums, and even the government.
     Most employers require that you have a graduate degree in history or library science.


It might seem like a lot of schooling and work but archivists make anywhere from $41,000 - $56,265 on average.

Foley artist


 

     Have you ever wondered how the sound effects in movies are created? Foley artists create sound effects by using anything they can find. They experiment with different things to see if they make a sound that is similar to something they have heard before. They also experiment with things to try and make the particular sound that they are looking for.

     The need for foley artists are increasing as the movie industry is.

Ocularist

Did you ever wonder what happens when somebody loses an eye? Usually, they get surgery and then an ocularist comes in and gets measurements and customizes artificial eyes that will fit perfectly into your eye socket. These people are so good at what they do that most people wouldn't even notice an artificial eye if they saw one. It is not as hard as you think though.. Since no two eyes look exactly the same. Artificial eyes use to be made using glass but now they are made of acrylic plastic.





Prosthodontists

Prosthodontists are dentists who specialize in replacing teeth using things like bridges, crowns, and dentures. Prosthodontists do everything that a normal dentist does as well. Dentists do things such as looking at your teeth, determining if your teeth need any work done to them, fill teeth, put on caps, and remove decay.
     The only differences that separate a prosthodontist from a dentist is that they do measurements and model for dentures, repair fractured teeth, and even do surgery on gums.

Requirements:

  • Get a degree from an accredited dentist school
  • Apply and receive a license for the state which you plan to work in
  • Pass a specialized exam


Salary and Future Outlook:

Prosthodontists make on average anywhere from $110,300-$196,000 a year.
People believe that this job will increase around 28% by the year 2018.

My friends dad does this as a career and they have a nice house and they don't have to worry about paying their bills.
